Herts WoodFuel is committed to preventing pollution and ensuring that its operations, minimise the impact on the environment.

 Herts WoodFuel will:

• Reduce where practically the level of harmful emissions produced in the course of its operations

• Use Aspen 2 FRT - a pre-mixed (at 50: 1) low alkylate petrol for all chainsaws

• Use low sulfur diesel in all vehicles & tractors

• Use bio-degradeable chain oil to minimise damage to the environment and reduce the risk to aquatic life

• Where practical, work operations will be carried out with a view to minimizing visual, noise and other impacts on the environment

• Encourage all staff, clients and the community to implement sound environmental practices  

• Meet and exceed where practical all relevant legislation or other regulations.
